How to apply
Our aim is to help you find the right job as quickly and easily as possible. Please read the instructions so that you can make the best use of our website.
Searching for jobs
Use the search feature to find jobs matching your requirements. You can filter and save searches as well as create job alerts if you create an account. Is this function disabled on the aggregator?
Registration
When you click the apply button, you will be transferred through to the application process with that specific NHS Trust or NHS Organisation, using their specific online application process. It will start by asking for your name and email address so that they can contact you regarding your applications.
Either now, or later at the end of the application process, you will have the option to create a username and password for logging into the online application portal. This means you can partly complete your application, save your progress and return to finish it later. It also means you can log in to check the progress of your application once finished and submitted, book interview times (if invited to do so), and complete other parts of the recruitment process where prompted, or withdraw your application should you change your mind.
Completing the application
The requirements of the application form may differ for each job you apply, ranging from just a CV, to more extensive forms that require information about your Education and Training, Employment History and Membership of any Professional Bodies. Some may ask you questions about your motivations and suitability for the role.
If you upload a CV, the technology will parse information from your CV into relevant sections of the application form, saving you the time and trouble of entering the information manually.
If you have created a user name and password, you can partly complete your application, save your progress and return to finish it later.
Once all aspects of the application are complete, the final step is to tick to say you have read and agree to the terms and conditions and/or data processing statement, and click the Submit button. You will receive an email confirming submission of your application. Within your personal homepage (linked to your account using your username and password if you have created one) the status of your application will indication submission/receipt.
Please note, once your application has been submitted you cannot alter or amend it.
